Sorry, I still do not agree with aluminum brake lines.  I guarantee that
aircraft brake lines are EXTREMLY expensive & checked by inspectors &
very carefully fabricated & installed.  Go for it if you want but steel
lines are the way to go.

I have to disagree on the aluminum brake line.  The rejional jets that I
used to work on (the Avro RJ-85, aka the BAE 142) used aluminum (alloy)
lines for hydraulic and braking in applications exceeding 3000 PSI and
these parts were NOT time or life limited.  They DO have to be properly
mounted, protected, inspected and maintained.  If you must know the

the info.  But for the small amount of tube used in one of these cars, I
don't think the couple ounces will make a difference....
