The following subjects have been
approved by the Board of Directors.
FORMULA F500

Item 2.
Effective 1/1/05 change the first sentence
of FSC Section 17.1.6.E.2. to read as follows:
Minimum weight as qualified and raced,
with driver, shall be 750 pounds (800 lbs. for
AMW and Rotax 494 engines, 850lbs. for
Rotax 493 engines).
Effective 1/1/05 change the last sentence
of FCS Section 17.1.6.E.15. to read as follows:
Rotax 493 engine allowed. ("in regional competition is struck-through",
thereby nullifying those words that I have simply eliminated here, but this
doesn't show in email, sorry-JL)

SOLO:
ITEM 42) Change the last sentence of
Appendix A, Modified Class F, A.4 (p. 228) to
read as follows:
"Add 50 lbs. for AMW and the Rotax 494
and 493 engines."

ITEM 43) Change Appendix A, Modified Class
F, A.5 (p. 228) to read as follows:
"Rotax powered cars are permitted to use 34
or 38 mm Mikuni roundslide carburetors.
AMW powered cars may use either the 38 mm
AMW carburetors or update to the 38 mm
Mikuni roundslide carburetors."
Comment: This allows for any GCR-legal
Rotax-powered F500 to run in F Modified, and
allows for parity by allowing the AMW-powered
cars to use the same carburetors.
