[F500] The FasTrack announcement

As I read this note in the March FasTrack:

"F500
1. Allow use of the 493 engines and/or
the RAVE 494. (Breschini, McLeod) The
consensus of the F500 community is to
allow the use of the RAVE 494 with
blocked off RAVE ports and not to allow the
493 engine."

I see that it is under the following heading:

"The following items have been previously
addressed, are submitted for
information only, or require no further
action by the Competition Board."

That tells me that things are just as they have been, the 493 is 
approved for Regional use and the 494 RAVE is still not approved.  It 
is not a rule, it is not a proposed rule; it may however be part of the 
decision process in some future rule.  That said, I'm composing my 
letter to the BOD and Comp Board to voice my opinion on the matter.
