I am using the conecam into a Cannon DV camcorder with a Radio Shack amp
mic for sound.
The whole system really works great. The only thing I had a hard time
with was where to put
the camcorder. I tore off my headrest and fabricated an acrylic
headrest box that I put padding
in for the camera. The box is clear so we can still use the remote to
start and stop. For those
of you who do not know me, we autocross so we need to have that kind of
control.

That sounds like the camera I am using. Are you going to feed the
camera
into a camcorder or a unit that doesn't use any tape?

For those using their own video systems, I need some
advice. I plan on creating an incar video system using
a color bullet cam with 400 lines of resolution,
although i am not sure which lens most people are
using. Any suggestions?
thanks
jim
