[F500] F500 driver size

I assume all of this is spelled out in the SCCA's expensive book titled
"GCR" rules? I guess I will have to buy one next season.

The engines in the class are defined by the rules.  The currently legal
engines for National Competition include the Rotax 494, AMW, Kawasaki
440,
and Chaparral 440.  The Rotax 493 is legal for Regional competition and
is
under discussion for Nationals.  Currently only the non-RAVE 494 is
legal. 
The engines are required to be stock with no internal machining.  All
engines except the AMW use the Mikuni 38mm Roundslide carbs.  The AMW
uses
a Mikuni pumper carb.  If you have had no automotive competition
experience
one of the professional drivers schools would be beneficial; however if
it
is Skip Barber or one of the other schools that have their own race
series,
they will try to talk you into spending your entire racing budget, and
racing career with them.
