I don't think you'll have a problem Dave. After talking to them at the
races, seeing their excellent mag, being interviewd by them after the race
along with Johnathan and Rusty, and after them taking pictures of Morales'
F500 for a feature article, I'm 100% confident in them. Now I just need to
get my subscription!! Calling now,

I already went to the website today. I am just wary of sending money for a
subscription to a magazine that appears to be on unsure financial footing.
The website was not up for months after the annoucement and then did not
post an update saying there were delays plus with emails going unanswered
asking about the status it leaves an impression that they may not be here
for the long haul or even to see out a full subscription.

Just the other night my wife indicated that she was going to get me a
subscription to both F1 and Formula 1 magazine for Christmas (I have been
picking up their issues at Borders) and if this new one focusing on US
Formulas is any good I would get it in place of one of the F1 magazines.

Having already been bit by a subscription in the past to a magazine that
failed (BritishCar) and while that magazine was luckily replaced by a good
product (Classic Motorsport) I am not looking to repeat. In a new magazine
I would be looking at the quantity and quality of the ad copy to see if it
appears viable. If there are not that many ads then the magazine is not
making money (reader subscriptions don't pay the bills - I was a managing
editor for a small local newspaper/magazine back in the late 80's so I have
some knowledge of the financial requirements). If it is not making money
than it won't be around.

If I could pick up a copy at the newstand (or see someone else's) that would
"ease" my mind about buying a subscription.
