[F500] Solo Protest??

The protest was filed by a SSL competitor.  The SCCA cancelled 3rd runs 
Thursday due to timer problems and severe rain. The SCCA *was* going to 
give the whole run group a 3rd run on the South course AFTER we ran the 
North course on Friday.  The protest was filed to deny those runs. After 
lengthy discussion the SCCA decided to disallow the 3rd runs on the 
South Course. It was pretty strange because the weather conditions were 
changing so much during the day. It rained ALL day Thursday but stopped 
about an hour before FMod ran (5th heat).  Everyone was trying to make 
tire decisions; some even changed to slicks after the 1st run.  At the 
end of the 2nd runs it got REAL wet again and the last runs were 
cancelled. Standing around in the pouring rain at impound was just icing 
on the cake.
  Somehow we still had fun.  From memory, here's the list of trophy 
winners...31 competitors in the class:
