[F500] Howell C. Jones III Sportsmanship Award

OK kids... time to put your money where your mouse is! This is an
official challenge!!!! I'm in for $250. Come on... match me! Or at
least kick in what you can.

It's less than one rotten, rainy, miserable test day. One of those
ones that you wish you hadn't towed for 3 hours each direction to do.
:-) It's 2 tires, or a golf cart rental at The Runoffs. It's a top end
rebuild for your spare Rotax. It's a month's collocation and
bandwidth charges for the f500.org server. Heck... It's less than my
bar tab at Buck's! :-)

Seriously, It would be wonderful to really make this award something
special and lasting. Howell personified the graciousness and
sportsmanship that IS F500. I can think of nothing better than to
honor one of the many in the F500 family who continue to define
sportsmanship by example, and to honor them in Howell's memory.

With a little luck and a lot of generosity (which the F500 folks seem
to naturally have in excess), maybe we can raise enough money to
ensure that this becomes a perpetual award.

By the way... many, many thanks to Julie, Lou and O.S. for their
effort and support. I, for one, recognize the amount of work
organizing something like this is. Rest assured that your efforts are
well appreciated!
