Bryan,

I use a new type of Hutchens Device called the D-Cell. It is cheap,
($400), easy to use and comfortable. Like Cory, I am laying down in the
car.

Good luck.

	Bryan,

I have been using a HANS device for the past 2 seasons. I can't
attest to it's performance because I've never has a major collision, but
it's simple to use and actually makes my belts more comfortable. Look
at www.hansdevice.com. You can choose from several models based on your
seating position in car. I sit almost completely horizontal.

The only drawback to the HANS is the price. When I bought mine,
they told me they were exploring different construction options that
would significantly lower the cost - maybe it's gone down. They also
have used ones sometimes.

	Best of luck!

	Cory

Jeremy, Could you make some recommendations of Neck
Supports that will work with our type of cars?
I have talked to several race shops here in the
Charlotte, NC area and the only thing they have is for
upright seating possitons, you know Nascar Heaven.

		Thanks Bryan Powell

			Jose,

I started when I was 27 and am somewhat
competitive in a tough division.
However, it does irk me when the kids show up
out of karts and kick my butt.

I owe my a$$ to Simpson belts and my Bell helmet
after my crunch this year.
Look into a neck device, trust me on this.

The St. Louis area has Gateway, you just missed
the National there. You get
the opportunity to play with Rusty, Jack, and
Kenny among others and will
definitely know where you stand against anyone
in the country.

If you get a chance come to the Runoffs and look
around. You will learn a
ton, but keep in mind that it is a serious time.

Speaking of the Runoffs, I am going to try and
handle most of the
responsiblity for the party (OK Julie?) as I
will have some free time due to
my rehab. Couple questions: Is everyone OK
with Pizza and beer/pop or do
we want something more/better? What is a fair
contribution amount for this
by everyone attending? Is the Fine Line Racing
tent available again or do
we have another volunteer? Keep your ideas inb
mind and email me publically
			or privately.

			Play Safe
