[F500] I'm so new, I don't know anything!

Hi Emre,

There is lots of F500 racing in Northern CA. F500 runs at all SCCA
Regional and National events. You can find the current schedule for
Sears, Laguna and Thunderhill at the SCCA San Francisco Region's web
site: www.sfrscca.com. We also have Buttonwillow Raceway nearby (about
4 hours south of the Bay Area). Cal Club (www.calclub.com) runs events
there.

As Dave mentioned, I'm in the area (Morgan Hill) and so is Don Clar,
the builder of the Novakar (Pleasant Hill). Don's contact info is on
the web site.

What city are you in? I can try to get you in touch with a F500 racer
nearby. One of the best ways to get involved is to volunteer to crew
for someone for a race or two. We all love to have enthusiastic extra
crew folks at the track, and you'll learn more about F500 and SCCA in
a couple weekends than you can imagine.
