Just realized that I had you and Gene mixed up. DOH!
Sorry guys.

Just for the record, this is what I do each time the clutch must go on the motor: Clean the surface of the crank snout and the surface of the clutch where the snout mates to the clutch.Apply a thin coat of Anti-Seize or equivalent compound.Put the clutch on and hand thread the bolt as far as it will go.Tighten the clutch bolt to 65# With all the engines I've used (Chapparal, Kawasaki, AMW, & Rotax) and all the clutches I've used (Polaris, Comet 102, and Comet 108), I've never had one come off. Will someone smarter than me please tell me I'm doing this right or tell me how lucky I've been? Weren't you the one that was asking why everybody else was having major failures and you weren't? I could swear it was you. That'll teach ya :-)
How do you like the Novakar? Asside from the clutch anyway....

cracked the movable sheave and broke the titanium arms in half.... I know
where to find the arms but does anyone have suggestions as to where to buy
only the movable sheave.... new or used..... Thanks....
