The use of anti-seize is somewhat open to debate on
taper fits. Yes it may come off easier, however it also
can put considerable more outward pressure on the
clutch parts ( or flywheel or ?? ). If the mfg. spec
was for "dry" parts they could fail with never-seize
on them.
Had some experience with this on some small
flywheels on a Harley short tracker. They really
go bang if overtightened.
We never used anything on the snowmobiles
and I've always put the clutch on the car dry.
never had any problem getting them off.
